Location of N'Wambu Safari Lodge

N’Wambu Safari Lodge boasts a prime position within the Mjejane Private Game Reserve, nestled upon the Crocodile River's edge; it lazily spreads itself across the banks gazing endlessly up and down the river's length. Just beyond the river delta, the lodge finds itself in view of picturesque flood planes, with their shimmering waters which act as a paradise for the wildlife of the Kruger National Park. Additionally, the lodge peers out over the rock lined rapids which cut through the deafening silence of the Kruger with their rich liquid tones.

Coupled with the panoramic views of the rushing Crocodile River, N’Wambu Lodge boasts a unique siting opportunity, as it is situated next to one of few nature belts within the Mjejane Reserve. With the lush vegetation of the nature belt and intelligent design of the lodge, you will find yourself immersed in absolute privacy, lost within the surrounding beauty of nature and integrated into a true bush experience like no other.

Despite the lodge’s incredible ability to hide within the thicket of the Kruger, it connects seamlessly with the walking and cycling tracks of the Mjejane Private Game Reserve, making for easy connections on foot and by vehicle to the facilities offered by the reserve. Not only is N’Wambu Lodge on a prime piece of the river frontage, it additionally allows its guests rapid access to the Mjejane restaurant, convenience store and children's play areas. Regardless of the nature of one's stay and the lodge's bush experiences, conveniences are always at hand to make one’s stay even more relaxing and versatile.

Mjejane and the Greater Kruger

Beyond the dominion of man, lies a land seemingly suspended without time. A vast expanse where power and beauty collide in the most inconceivable ways. Each moment a vivid art form; from the moment the sun paints incomparable masterpieces across the skies in the morning, to the acoustic splendour of orchestral animal sounds through the night. The Kruger National Park is a location like no other, where the Big Five and countless other majestic animals put on the most encapsulating performances.

Within the park lies Mjejane an unfaltering example of the beauty the game reserve offers. With its 11km frontage along the Crocodile River, this portion of the Kruger Nation Park is among the best locations for an escape into nature. No matter the time of day, adventuring into the expansive Kruger road network is made simple through the use of the private bridge which connects the park and Mjejane, across the powerful Crocodile River. Being within the Southern reaches of the Kruger National Park, Mjejane is directly accessible from the N4 highway. Traveling from Johannesburg will take approximately four hours by car, while the option of air travel exists to the Nelspruit International Airport on selective flights. From the Nelspruit International Airport to Mjejane is approximately an hour drive. This portion of incredible wilderness is enough to get lost in, or lose oneself within. From the lazy afternoons in the African sun to game drives across the wild biomes of the bushveld, the incredible environment and creatures are forever on display.
